Hello my lovelies! I’m here with a special treat for you! I have a wip novel that I am (no-duh) working on. 😀 I actually had the opportunity to pitch it to a publisher and they are *interested* in it! Which means, over the next month or so, I will be re-grooming this book and getting it ready to submit to them. I thought I would share with you my mood board for it and some inspiration pictures since, to date, this is probably my all time favorite WIP pinterest board that I have curated. It just gives me all the feels and I instantly feel like I am in the book. Which is awesome and the purpose of these things, right? Without further ado, here is the working title and synopsis for your enjoyment!
SAFE:
Hank Madison is a loner and likes it that way. Always has, always will. Or so he thought.
Kaelyn Madison is confused as to why her mom is driving up to her uncle’s cabin in the middle of the night. Driving up north where it is cold to an isolated cabin in the woods does not sound like fun. But the night doesn’t end the way she had expected. With one fatal mistake they go through a guard rail.
Hank doesn’t have much choice but to take in his teenage niece. Dealing with a grieving teen who has temporary amnesia is the last thing Hank ever thought to prepare for. And when a stalker appears to taunt Kaelyn, her growing paranoia force Hank to look deeper.
Was Meredith’s death truly an accident? Will Hank be able to find out before it is too late?
Hopefully this post doesn’t seem super random, but, for me with my writing, I feel like there is always something that inspires me so intensely during the writing process. Sometimes it is music, another story, etc. But this book was so strongly influenced by my pinterest board and all of the moody images that I found. I seriously get giddy every time I open up the board and start going through it. I’ll link it here as well so that you can get a good look at all of the pins I have curated.
What do you think? Are you excited for this book?
By God’s Grace,
Victoria
P.S. This post contains photo’s that are not my own and have been all found on Pinterest.
This is so cool! 🙂

Ah, so exciting, Victoria!! I especially enjoyed reading your synopsis… for some reason, it reminds me slightly of the book Heidi by Johanna Spyri, which excites me even more. ♥ I can’t wait to hear more about this work God is putting in your heart!!
Oooo, a mystery? Yes please! These pics are amazing! Good job! Can’t wait to read this on!

If she has temporary amnesia, then can she remember the accident?
Welcome to the club, Ava! I am working on six different books and none are near done…
